A little about Todd…
Todd Weekley is a character and industrial voiceover artist with roots in stage theatre. He played Alan Elliot in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, a teen/shriner in Bye Bye Birdie, and a villainous Judge in an original translation of Jean Giraudoux’s Ondine. During this time, he also roved the lanes of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival as an improvisational street character. Todd also sang as a bass in the madrigal group The Warblers. Additionally, he played the roles of the Bishop and tap-dancing sailor in Anything Goes and brought James Joyce to life in Tom Stoppard’s Travesties. He landed his first voiceover role as the Voice in the one-act play Tone Clusters. Later, he portrayed two different Oscar Wilde butlers: The Importance of Being Earnest’s Merriman and An Ideal Husband’s Phipps.
Todd’s voiceover credits include Father Tom Alvern on the Weeping Cedars podcast, the voice of Benjamin Clownface in the horror anthology Tales of the Inexplicable, and Sensei and Kyle in the LEGO animated series Paul Makes Everything Worse. He has also voiced numerous eLearning narration projects for elementary and middle school students, as well as corporate explainer videos. On screen, he has appeared as Dr. Malcolm in the independent film Quirewood! The Musical and Patrick in the short film Apocalypse Party. He portrayed self-help guru and motivational speaker Leonardo Villanova in the independent short film Four Killers and a Liar. Most recently, he voiced Wally in Andrew Biss’ audio drama Leah’s Gals, set to be released in early 2024.
Currently based in Boston, MA, Todd lived in Japan for a year, studying the language and culture. While there, he joined a Japanese taiko (drumming) group and performed at the Akita Prefecture Taiko Festival, Akita City’s Kanto Festival, and the All-Japan Taiko Festival. He has trained with Charlie Adler, Dorothy Gallagher, Brian McKeever, Eliza Jane Schneider, and Rick Zieff. He has also trained with ImprovBoston.
